If you’re wondering what there is to do on Virgin Voyages don’t be like most people who incorrectly think THIS:
“There isn’t enough to do on Virgin Voyages…” WRONG!
I’m writing this while I’m ON the ship and someone told me today “wow, I’m running around because there are too many things to do”.
This was my top mistake, too – I was exhausted after my Virgin Voyages vacation (and needed a vacation immediately afterwards) because I did too much (it was one of many mistakes I made on my first sailings – see that full video here).
Don’t believe it? Find out for yourself as you peruse the itineraries below!
OR – see my LITERAL itinerary from a 5 night sailing on Dominican Daze (showing what I ACTUALLY did) by clicking here.
One thing to notice as you glance at the day 1 (embarkation day) Valiant Lady itinerary below, is it’s basically the same as the Scarlet Lady day 1 (embarkation day) itinerary below it.
One thing to take note of: the different eateries that are open as soon as you are on board! Too many people just go straight to The Galley when you have SO MANY other options.
Did you notice the part with the burger special in the above photo on the bottom left? It changes daily!
Are you noticing all the different holiday themed items in the above itinerary? That’s right! Virgin Voyages changes things up to create a holiday theme. You can see more about that in the RECAP AND REVIEW video of this sailing by clicking here or below!
As you look at the itinerary below did you notice the “find me at” portion? That’s right! You can pick up a daily printed itinerary around the ship if you don’t get one delivered to your room (by the time you want it). You can also find it on the Virgin Voyages “channel” on your in-room TV!
One thing to note… as you glance through the itineraries, look at some of the show times (so it can give you a sense of what time booking your dinners will be best for you).
Or get a sense of what time various eateries are open (there is always SOMETHING open 24/7) and also take note of the various parties and shows that are happening around the ship.
As you look at the example below, don’t think you have to be a solo sailor to GO to the solo sailor meet ups!
I’ve sailed solo on Virgin Voyages twice and both times, I met plenty of people that went to these meetups simply to meet other sailors and make friends!

Notice the sail away party time in the itinerary below?
Don’t feel like you need to be at the ENTIRE party, it’s nice to cheers and go (but do note there are free bubbles served at 5:45pm)!
Don’t forget to pack THIS!
Virgin Voyages has reimagined sailing and what you need to pack on for this trip is DIFFERENT than a normal cruise line. There are many items I wish I knew to bring (that I didn’t have with me on my first sailing).
Get a free printable pack list and save yourself the headache!

Want to see me going through an example itinerary?
In the video below, we tour the Valiant Lady, but at the end I open the Virgin Voyages app and I take you through an example of the activities that are happening that day with some insider tips.
This will help you to get a feel for what YOUR day could look like. Skip ahead to that exact part of the video by clicking here or below.

Want all the MUST-KNOW tips in in a digital or printable GUIDE to have with you while sailing?
Don’t miss out on the Virgin Voyages guide which summarizes all the KEY things to know and serves as your go-to while you’re on the ship.
Shouldn’t the different ships have DIFFERENT itineraries? Kind of! Resilient has a unique set of entertainment and shows on board, but for the most part, they are the same. It’s your ITINERARY that often drives what the schedule is more so than the ship!
Helpful reminder: the daily itinerary can be picked up around the ship (such as at The Ground Clubs, Sailor Services or at the Shore Things table on deck 7)!
But wait… there’s more!
I’m going to be honest: I’m a super savvy traveler and I didn’t believe travel agents could get a better deal than me..
Until I was proven wrong by a *TOP 100* Virgin Voyages travel agent who beat every price I compared.
