So, don’t let this hidden gem pass you by; make sure to explore brunch options at both The Wake and Razzle Dazzle during your trip.
Don’t Wait In Line for Pizza at The Pizza Place
For those late-night cravings after partying at the manor (or elsewhere!), The Pizza Place is the go-to spot, staying open until 1 am.
However, a tip to maximize your time and avoid the often sweltering heat inside: don’t wait inside the establishment.
For reasons unknown, many choose to queue inside The Pizza Place, despite it being notably hot. Instead of enduring the wait in those conditions, simply order your pizza, take a buzzer, and move to a more comfortable location.
Whether you prefer the ambiance of the open space, enjoying live music at The Rocks, or continuing your dance at the manor, the buzzer from The Pizza Place will work seamlessly.
Many People Don’t Know Karaoke is Free
One of the lesser-known entertainment options aboard is the “groupie” area, where guests can indulge in karaoke.
Contrary to popular belief, not only is karaoke complimentary, but guests also have the luxury of booking their private karaoke room.

Additionally, there’s no need to purchase a Bahamas SIM card or subscribe to an expensive roaming plan as the free Wi-Fi from the ship is accessible there. Everything’s been thought of, ensuring you have a seamless experience during your time at the beach club.
But that’s not all; there’s more to explore on Bimini. An efficient tram service is available which makes stops at various attractions, including the Hilton Resorts World for those interested in gambling. Additionally, you can opt to rent a boat, partake in top-rated excursions (links provided in the description), or book through Virgin Voyages for other fantastic activities. Getting a day bed at the pool can be a challenging task, especially on sea days when everyone flocks there. While many attempt to reserve these sought-after spots by placing their belongings on them and then intermittently returning, be aware that if your items are unattended for over 40 minutes, they will be moved to lost and found.
Instead of the pool hustle, consider heading to the Dock House. Here, not only can you secure a day bed, but you’ll also often find a DJ spinning some groovy tunes (keep an eye on the schedule on your app!). Plus, you get to enjoy a breathtaking view of the back of the Scarlet Lady ship.
Given that the pool on Virgin Voyages isn’t truly meant for swimming but more for partying, the Dock House offers a serene alternative.
Another tip for securing a prime day bed spot is by befriending a Rockstar with access to Richard’s Rooftop. With an array of day beds and a fantastic ambiance, it’s a haven for those looking for a bit of luxury.
Start Using the Virgin Voyages App to Book Your Experiences IMMEDIATELY at Port
As soon as you arrive at the port, before even boarding the ship, it’s crucial to start using the Virgin Voyages app.
Why? The ability to book your shows, entertainment, and the complimentary workout classes is activated only when you’re connected to the Virgin Voyages Wi-Fi.
With limited spots for certain experiences, like the popular Bungee class which accommodates just six to eight participants, it’s essential to book early to secure your spot.
However, a word of caution: while it’s tempting to overbook, remember that for certain ticketed items, there’s a penalty for no-shows, where the fees are donated to charity.
That said, if you’ve missed out on booking an event, there’s still hope. Many aren’t aware of the drop-in option for several activities, especially workouts. Given the occasional hungover sailor regretting their morning class choice, there often are open spots. For instance, even a sold-out spin class might have available bikes.
Similarly, if you couldn’t book a ticket for a show in the Manor, there’s an upstairs viewing area where you can watch without a reservation. The same goes for dinners; the stand-by option might still get you in. This flexibility ensures that you can maximize your experience on the ship.
Book Your Dinners 45 Days Before Sailing with Virgin Voyages
One essential piece of advice every sailor should heed is to book your dinners well in advance of your Virgin Voyage. While there’s the temptation to finalize dinner plans once at the port or even aboard the ship, it’s advised to secure your reservations 45 days prior to sailing.
This preparation can save you from potential disappointment or late-night meal times that might not be ideal. For instance, not booking in advance left me with no scheduled dinners, and I had to rely on stand-by options. This resulted in dining at less desirable times, like 9:45 p.m.
To ensure you get the best experience and choice of dining times, mark your calendar and set a reminder to book your dinners 45 days before you set sail. Booking with a travel agent means someone is sending you a helpful reminder to do exactly this!
