Why we chose Mari and her mother as the winners
On October 10th, Mari and her mother were diagnosed with breast cancer on the same day. This October 10th, 2024 marks 6 years for Mari and 3 years for her mother.
Both have gone on their journeys to beat cancer and October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
This cruise is a chance for them to celebrate LIFE.
When I’ve sailed on Virgin Voyages with Mari in the past, we spent a lot of time talking about my own experiences on this cruise line with my mom.
Virgin Voyages is a special experience. It brings all age groups together and is genuinely a fun and unique experience.
My travel agent, Jason (JC) Carter and I said “wow, what a special way to bring awareness to breast cancer, celebrate two survivors and allow them to connect on one of the BEST vacations out there”.
