Step 1: Start on the Virgin Voyages Website
The first step is to search for your ideal sailing on the Virgin Voyages website.
Only you know where you want to go and when you’re available.
I do this by:
- Searching within specific regions of the world
- Searching within the timeframe I know I’m available
It looks like this:
The Key? Compare Multiple Dates
Just like airfare, cruise prices fluctuate based on demand.
The same exact itinerary can have totally different prices depending on the date you choose.
It becomes IMPORTANT to look at ALL the dates of the itinerary you’re considering. In the example below, there is a $408 price difference between two different dates of THE SAME SAILING IN THE SAME MONTH!
Another example from the screenshot above:
- One sailing date (Dec 5): $1,490 per person
- Another sailing date (Mar 14): $2,400 per person
- Same cruise. Different price. Huge savings: $910
⚠️ Important: Prices can change daily. Even if you find a deal today, it might not be the same tomorrow!
