New Virgin Voyages Brilliant Lady to launch out of Los Angeles
Virgin Voyages is introducing its newest ship, the Brilliant Lady, set to launch from Los Angeles by the end of 2025.
This means West Coast travelers can look forward to experiencing Virgin Voyages without the need for cross-country flights or overseas trips. Stay tuned for more details, and get ready to set sail from LA on the Brilliant Lady in 2025!
Bar Tab Goes Away
There is still no drinks package on Virgin Voyages, but a new change: bar tab goes away.
As of April, the bar tab, a staple of many Virgin Voyages voyages, is being phased out.
This shift reflects Virgin Voyages’ commitment to simplifying the onboard experience and moving away from traditional drink packages. In it’s place, sailor loot (i.e. “on board credit” or your “cruise credit”) can continued to be used towards drinks and LOTS of other items.

Virgin Voyages Loyalty Program Changes
These changes were a long time coming, but Virgin Voyages’ revamped it’s loyalty program.
Anchored by three tiers—Sailing Club, Blue Extras, and Deep Blue—this updated program gives great perks to those with highest status, and not a lot to those just starting.
From complimentary daily coffees and exclusive cocktail parties to coveted amenities like premium Wi-Fi and a $100 bar tab for Deep Blue members, the rewards are GREAT.
Other than that.. it kinda feels like a pat on the back 👀 … *just being honest*

Pricing on Virgin Voyages
The cost of sailings can vary widely based on factors like the season and destination.
Recently, we’ve seen some prices drop, especially for four- and five-night sailings out of Miami, making them more affordable for travelers.
For instance, you could book a balcony room for around $1,900 for two people, with the added perk of $600 in sailor loot.
To get the BEST deal on your sailing, consider booking with a travel agent (they get better deals than us “everyday travelers” have access to).

Certain prices have gone up, such as Moët champagne, which now costs $25 per glass, and some menu items like the Seafood Tower, which increased by about $10.
Changes to Razzle Dazzle Menu
Get ready for some tasty updates at Razzle Dazzle onboard Virgin Voyages.
The menu has changed, and for the secret menu: you can now you can enjoy a delicious burger as the main attraction. While some favorites like tater tots are no longer available, the new addition is delicious.

Make reservations 45 days in advance
The latest update from Virgin Voyages brings exciting changes for travelers looking to book their dining experiences in advance.
Now, guests can make reservations for both dinner and brunch 45 days before their sailing date, providing ample time to plan and secure their preferred dining times.

Ordering at The Galley has changed
A recent update has transformed the ordering experience at The Galley, providing guests with a new level of convenience and flexibility.
Previously, passengers were encouraged to sit down, peruse the menu, and order via a waiter or waitress.
However, the latest change allows guests to approach the counters directly and place their orders, offering a quicker and more efficient way to dine.
Translation: it’s closer to a “buffet experience” WITHOUT being a buffet experience.
This adjustment is particularly beneficial for those seeking a grab-and-go option or who prefer a more casual dining experience.
With the ability to order directly from the counters, guests can tailor their dining experience to suit their preferences, whether they’re in a hurry or simply want to explore the various culinary offerings at their own pace.
