While cruising on the Harmony of the Seas with Royal Caribbean, I was trying to decide between different excursions at port in St John, US Virgin Islands.
I generally love to use Get Your Guide and specifically, I sort the available tours by TRAVELER ranking (not whatever they recommend, because well, you never know “who” is recommending it). However, while there are several tours available, I like to see tours with LOTS of ratings and it was lacking that.
So if I couldn’t find a tour I wanted (with lots of reviews), what did I do?
I went to my other excursion site I like to use (Viator), but I wanted something DIFFERENT than the normal tourist spots.
What ended up happening?
I booked directly with the cruise I was on – also because this snorkel tour specifically went FURTHER away on the island to Christmas Cove. Most people go to Magens Bay, but I wanted to try something different.
