What it’s like being on a 1,680 person cruise with 117 people 👀😮
Have you heard of the Bahamas Paradise cruise line? It’s now been rebranded to be a Margaritaville at Sea.
I recently learned about THE WAVE (the time of year, namely December, January and March in which it’s usually the best time to find cruise deals), but I had booked this cruise during BLACK FRIDAY.
Most people don’t think to look for travel deals on Black Friday (we’re usually consumed with electronics and other purchases), but these suggestions are one of the 11 ways to find a great deal on a cruise.

A cruise deal STEAL
With the Black Friday deal I found, Margaritaville at Sea was $99 + tax for a two night cruise for TWO people.
This included 5 drink coupons, free wifi and other perks (like spa credit).
HOW is that possible?! I booked it so I could find out…

How much it cost
Hold on what about taxes and all the other fees?
In total for the cruise it was $275 with taxes. Still a great deal, but I wondered if there was a catch.
With that $275 we got 5 free drinks, free internet daily and spa credit, but there wasn’t a catch. Drinks on board were VERY inexpensive (anywhere from $6-$9 for top shelf). Water was $1. I got a bottle of GOOD champagne for $40. Decent wine was as low as $18 a bottle.
I opted in for a specialty dinner steak for just $22.
Parking at the port was something around $20/night for valet.
Amazing right? NO this cruise is not the nicest cruise we’ve been on (I’m a huge fan of Virgin Voyages).. but did we have a TON of fun?

Bottom line
We’re all looking for a great deal on a cruise. While THIS particular cruise line isn’t one that I would recommend, I DO recommend avoiding these 11 things when trying to find a deal on a cruise.
