A message from me…
The word that defines 2024 for me is MEANINGFUL.
It was a year of really fun travel to places with people I really care about and even though I traveled the LEAST I have EVER traveled in my 5 years being a creator, it was some of the best travel I had.
This was the year of LESS.
I learned the hard way (by burning out) that travel AND creating is exhausting, so I cut back. A LOT. I took 33 trips this year and only traveled 164 days (and yes, 11 of those trips were Virgin Voyages sailings).
Cutting back on travel means I could “finally have time” to do things like finally write a New Years card.
What was my 2024 travel like?
- I added dozens more dives around the world in my scuba diving log
- I got to experience Day of the Dead in Mexico City
- I spoke on the main stage at conferences
- I ran from the cartel in Tulum with my drones
- I somehow became a celebrity on a cruise line
- I skied in Utah
- I had free flights to go anywhere in the world, but I chose to go to Vegas with Meatball. LOL
- Later in the year he and I got lost on a jet ski in Connecticut in the pouring rain. And we also watched the sunset everyday while traveling to my favorite place in the world (Bonaire)
- I was “rebirthed” to the world after spending 4 hours in a sweat lodge in a holy place called Tepozlan, Mexico
- There are 500 other things I could write here… but I’ve been working till 4am lately… so I’ll end it with
- And I shot 3TB of content and made about 590 fully edited videos
And given I didn’t travel a lot, I got to play a lot of pickleball spending quality time in Florida with Lou while eating a lot of Dominos pizza. LOL.
I grew as a creator with over 4.7 million views this year across my social platforms and I got to travel with and meet over a thousand people IN PERSON who watch my content.
2024 is a year I’m incredibly thankful for. I’m thankful to the people who MADE my 2024 as meaningful as it felt and am looking forward to 2025 with a pickleball paddle in one hand and a glass of champagne in the other while spending a lot of time in Florida and on Virgin Voyages sailings.

I got to experience it first hand as you so graciously share your time with all who approached but yet made each person feel like it was just you and them.. you made cruising solo a fun thing not to be afraid or fearful of.
